What is Tellington TTouch?

TTouch is a non-invasive method of working with companion animals that improves physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Developed by animal expert Linda Tellington Jones, TTouch has been used all over the world on a wide variety of animals with astounding results.

For more details about what TTouch involves see the TTouch Work page.

What can TTouch help with?

TTouch can help with a wide variety of behavioural and health problems.

It can:

  • reduce aggression (towards people or other animals)
  • improve performance (e.g. agility or when showing)
  • help with fear and noise sensitivity (e.g. to fireworks)
  • reduce destructiveness
  • stop lead pulling
  • reduce pain
  • aid healing of injuries and illnesses
  • reduce travel sickness

Important: Please note although Tellington TTouch can help with many health problems, it is not a replacement for medical treatment. We strongly advise that all animals have a general health check with their veterinary surgeon prior to consultation to identify any health problems.

One to One Sessions

We offer one to one sessions with you and your animal. These normally take place in your home where the animal is most comfortable.

Based near Bath, Somerset we are happy to make visits throughout the South West region. For details of how to book a consultation please see the Contact page.

Workshops

We also run one day workshops for a variety of different animals focusing on particular topics such as preventing lead pulling, or reducing anxiety and nervousness.

Workshops offer a great way for you to learn key TTouch techniques yourself so you can use them on your own animals. Workshop attendance is limited to small groups to keep the right balance between group work and individual attention.

The workshops take place at a variety of venues in the Bath area. For details of how to book a place on a workshop please see the Contact page.

What animals can you treat?

The TTouch method has been used successfully on a wide variety of mammals, birds and even reptiles. Whilst most of the animals we deal with are household pets we have also worked with non-domesticated zoo animals.

Please note we do not offer TTouch for horses - although you can find practitioners who do on the TTouch & TTeam UK website.
