TTouch Work
The TTouch method uses a combination of various touches and lifts on the body, alongside ground work (over obtacles) and leading exercises (mainly for dogs). We also have various different tools that we use, to enable us to apply the method to different species and to give animals different sensations.
Body Work
The Tellington TTouches consist of gentle circular touches, lifts and stroking movements on the animal's skin. These touches can be used over the whole of the animal's body. They can alter behaviour, help with injuries and improve the relationship between an animal and their owner.
Wraps
The body wrap/face wrap can be used on various different species of animals. It is used to bring a sense of awareness to the animal's body.
We have found the wraps to be particularly effective for animals that are noise sensitive, hyperactive or have travel sickness. It is also beneficial for injured or arthritic animals.
Confidence Course
The confidence course (also known as the playground for higher learning) is a fun way of getting your animal to focus. It can make your animal more agile, balanced and improves co-ordination. The confidence course involves being led over and through a series of different obstacles.
Leading Exercises
One of the most common problems dog owners come across is their dog/s pulling on the leash. This habit can cause unnecessary strains and injuries, as well as making walks a chore for the owner and an unpleasant experience for the animal.
Using leading exercises we can eliminate this problem. Every animal and owner is different. We have several different techniques and pieces of equipment that we may use to best suit you and your animal.
